Jason is a full Member of the International Compliance Association and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, with over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector within the Isle of Man and international jurisdictions.
He moved from South Africa in 1986 and began his career in the motor vehicle trade when an opportunity presented itself in the financial services sector. His first role was as a customer support administrator for a significant life assurance company. He has occupied the positions of a DMLRO, Client Services Director, and acting Managing Director of a Trust and Corporate Service Provider. He has sat on the board of an AIM-listed company.
In 1998, Jason Suffered a brain stem stroke and has overcome many challenges. He has a survivor mentality and views obstacles as opportunities, which he applies to his personal and work life by honing and developing the skills he can control and learning new skills.
Jason is a firm believer that every person working within the financial service industry has a personal responsibility to protect themselves, the company they work for, the reputation of the jurisdiction from where they operate and the reputation of the financial services industry.
Jason enjoys martial arts outside of work because of the discipline it instils, fitness training, and keen interest in international cuisine.
